Judith Plows

Resolutely pragmatic and focused, Judith Plows brings unparalleled strategic and financial thinking to her work. A retired Co-founder of KrasnePlows, Judy continues to serve as part of the company’s advisory team. 

Judy’s vast career spans more than 30 years in both the corporate and nonprofit worlds. Before starting KrasnePlows, she was the Executive Director of a foundation dedicated to planning and establishing the Asian University for Women. There she educated a broad coalition of organizations about the nonprofit's financial health and key issues.

In her previous role with the Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF), Judy established two successful joint ventures that expanded NFF's programs and services to new locations. She helped develop an innovative, replicable program to encourage nonprofits to establish reserve funds and strengthened NFF's financial, human resources, and technology functions. She came to the nonprofit world after two decades with J.P. Morgan and Co., operating in various positions from Head of Human Resources in Private Banking to COO of Morgan’s Mutual Funds Group.

Judy served as a member of the board, executive and investment committees of United Educators, Footsteps, and Oberlin College, among others. 

Judy earned her B.A. in History from Oberlin College. She also holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Yale University.
