For over 10 years, Denise DeMaio has worked with nonprofit organizations in
various financial and analytical capacities. Through her positions at
MetLife and Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF), she made recommendations for
program related investments, grants, loans, and credit enhancements for
organizations across all nonprofit sectors at budgetary levels ranging from
to $400,000 to $20 million. During her tenure with NFF, her
responsibilities also included both the procedural development and
management of NFF’s loan guarantee program for childcare organizations. In
her previous positions, as well as through her current independent
consulting work, Ms. DeMaio provides business analysis, financial modeling,
and advisory services for nonprofit organizations.
Ms. DeMaio holds a BS in Finance from Fordham University and a MPA from the
Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
